Shipping and Receiving:
– Assist in the coordination, organization, a documentation of all incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to work independently a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role.
Shipping and Receiving
• Assist in preparing and verifying shipments, ensuring accuracy in product quantity, and quality documentation.
• Receive incoming shipments, inspecting packages for damages, discrepancies, and verifying against purchase orders or packing lists.
• Assist in unloading, sorting and organizing incoming shipments and staging them in designated areas
• Prepare shipping labels, packing slips and other necessary documents for outgoing shipments.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders and internal items to schedule pick-ups, deliveries, and resolve any shipping-related issues.
Inventory
• Asist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
• Assist in gathering parts for manufacturing and maintaining correct inventory counts.
• Organize and label inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy retrieval
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and initiating reordering of products to avoid stockouts.
• Assist in performing regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues.
Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain proper documentation and records of shipping and receiving activities including tracking numbers, delivery confirmations and invoices.
• Generate and distribute regular reports on shipping and receiving and inventory metrics highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
• Assist in preparing shipping and customs documentation for international shipments ensuring compliance with regulations.
Equipment Safety
• Safely operate and maintain equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools, following proper safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage locations, shipping/receiving docks, and equipment.
Other
• Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
• Stand for long period of time
• Experience working in fast past environment and pay attention to detail
• Able to drive forklift
• Work in warehouse environment subject to above and below average temperatures
