VMI TITAN 8

The Titan 8 cutter suction dredge comes equipped with a 10 inch (250mm) suction and 10 inch (250mm) discharge pump and a standard maximum dredging depth of 20 feet (6 meters). The Titan series is a conventional cable swing dredge line with the ability to use either spuds and/or a tail winch to suit different applications. The Titan line provides a high level of performance in a compact, sectional design for transportation by trucks or containers. Our dual acting boom cylinders provide power up and down so additional force may be applied downward on the cutter head while digging. The spuds feature a rack and pinion drive system that provides power up and down allowing the ability to force the spuds down into the ground to better hold their position. Our free floating spud option allows the ability to place the spuds into free sliding mode for changing water levels while the dredge is not in use. Optional maximum digging depths up to 42 feet (12.8 meters), tail winch, and different cutting edges are available.
