Job Duties and Responsibilities
Equipment Sales, Rentals and Parts – Oversees the sales and rental process including corresponding with existing and potential customers regarding rental and sales of new and used equipment and accessories. Oversees the parts sales employees and processes within the scope of parts sales.
• Logs and saves all leads with notes per VMI’s CRM (Customer Relations Management) procedure.
• Provides and saves complete documentation pertaining to what is quoted, sold, rented, and/or to be completed as part of each sale and/or rental.
• Provides documentation for the business, contact personnel, and shipping location of all sales and/or rentals.
• Manages and assists with quoting all equipment and saves all documented quotes and estimates per VMI’s Quoting Procedure.
• Manages employees within parts sales.
• Consults with the parts sales manager to determine proper sales margins and potential sales opportunities.

Training – Oversees the training services offered and provided by VMI.
• Create training curriculum tailored to meet customer preferences and needs as requested and authorized by VMI executive management.
• Travel to locations around the world to provide training as authorized by VMI executive management.
• Lead training exercises on VMI premises when authorized by VMI executive management.
• Abide by all safety and work requirements pertaining to the work location and customer requirements.

Service – Oversee all field service offered by VMI.
• Manages and assists with quoting all service work and saves all documented quotes and estimates per VMI’s Quoting Procedure.
• Travel to locations around the world to provide on-site service as authorized by VMI executive management.
• Oversee on-site service provided by VMI employees and service technicians.
• Communicates with customers assisting in troubleshooting, identifying parts, ordering parts, and scheduling service as necessary to resolve their needs.
• Abide by all safety and work requirements pertaining to the work location and customer requirements.

Business Development– Oversee the growth and expansion of VMI’s brand and services.
• Collects testimonials, video, pictures, and other media to be utilized for advertising and other purposes.
• Provides recommendations to VMI executive management concerning business opportunities and expansion.

Skills
Developing and implementing effective sales strategies, setting goals, and creating sales plans. Understanding and applying various sales methodologies, including prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing deals. Possessing a thorough understanding of the products or services being sold, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Proficiently using CRM systems to manage leads, track customer interactions, and analyze sales data. Effectively negotiating with clients, suppliers, and team members to achieve favorable outcomes.
