Friends and family gathered for VMI’s 50th Anniversary in the dredging industry on Friday, September 30th. The evening began with games of cornhole and ax throwing. The children enjoyed a bounce house and face painting. Celebrants enjoyed a catered dinner and anniversary cake. The president of VMI, Cash Maitlen, was presented a plaque from the employees commemorating VMI’s 50 years in the dredging industry and Cash’s years of dedication to the dredging industry and for his innovative ideas that carve a path for others to follow. The evening was concluded with an outdoor movie on an inflatable movie screen.

VMI owes it to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved over the last 50 years and seeks to continue the legacy for the next 50 years with the help of the great team in place today.
