Hi, my name is Cash Maitlen. I'm president of VMI. We are here in Nebraska on the Platte River with a brand new VMI Titan 10 dredge in the background behind me. The dredge was purchased by Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation. They are using the dredge to remove sand from the river to maintain the river depth in front of their dam spillway gates.

We've been interested in purchasing a new dredge for quite a while. VMI has been excellent in helping us modernize our entire system, from the dredge to the way we view pumping and the way we have been pumping to our discharge line. Literally changing our entire operations from start to finish. Been great to work with.

I can't say enough good about the machine. It's designed for exactly what we need. It is mobile. It's easy to operate. As of now, I could not be happier. It's a beautiful machine. The power, everything on it, the efficiency, you can already tell compared to what we had, it's hands down the right decision.

We've been unable to keep up with the equipment we had, so all the guys are comfortable. I think going forward with this dredge, we'll be able to make way more progress than we were able to in the past. From comfort to size and power, the power of the machine is way more than our old machine.

Hydraulic over electric on our pumps is huge. I build stuff and I look at welds. I look at sharp edges that are taken off of things and finishes. I liked everything I saw. I like the people I talked to there. They've been very knowledgeable. The whole operation in general is amazing.

I've been down there twice, and already looking at it and having an idea of what we're doing, going down the second time, I was still amazed at the machinery and the process in general. Down to the metal work, all the electrical work, and all the tech involved in it. It's light years ahead of where we're at.

The operating features are going to be awesome. It's so much better for me. Everything is digital on the screen, and you can see exactly what your cutterhead is doing, what your pump is doing, and your discharge. Before, we had liquid gauges that sometimes worked and sometimes had to be tapped.

Seeing everything and being able to see your depth while pumping is a huge advantage for us instead of having to stop, take a pole, stick it down, and see how far we are. The features on it are amazing.
